Who doesn’t love before and after makeover pictures? Here I showcase my favorite area of interior design—revitalizing furniture with new upholstery. It’s so satisfying to see old furniture given new life. I’m always on the look-out for genuine or faux antique furniture pieces with “good bones” that require a little TLC. Once I clear off the dust, touch up the scratches, and ensure it’s stable, I’m off to the upholstery fabric store to find just the right fabric to complement the piece and its intended use.
